At the heart of every retreat we host is a desire to create space - to slow down, connect, and experience Round Top with intention. We gather not just to shop or explore, but to step away from the everyday and share meaningful moments with kindred spirits. This recap offers a glimpse into that experience, and our hope is that each of our lovely attendees walked away feeling inspired, grounded, and more connected - to themselves, to one another, and to the spaces they’re creating at home.

part 1 - WELCOME DINNER + VISION CASTING KICK OFF
MEET + GREET
THE VINTAGE ROUND TOP
The retreat kicked off with a meet-and-greet at The Vintage Round Top, where attendees had the opportunity to connect and share a little about themselves and what brought them to the retreat. From there, they settled into their rooms, discovered their personalized tote bags, and took a moment to refresh before hopping in the van for our welcome dinner. Watching kindred spirits connect and begin their journey together is such an honor to be part of.

WELCOME GATHERING
T+H FARMS
T+H Farms, located in LaGrange, was an absolute dream to work with and such a delightful surprise for our group. From the stunning exterior grounds to the beautifully designed interior event spaces, it provided the perfect backdrop for every detail we brought in to feel intentional and thoughtfully curated. With a style and vibe so aligned with The Vintage Round Top, we knew it would be the ideal place to kick off the retreat.
We designed the space with two distinct areas - one for the welcome + vision workshop and one for the dinner - using a central table in the middle to separate the two. The table was styled with decor pieces from our online shop, imagery from our spaces, and beautiful vessels and natural blooms by Kayli of The Bloom Bar.
I loved collaborating with so many talented women to bring what my vision to life and I’ll be sharing much more about T+H Farms and the Bloom Bar in an upcoming post.

VISION CASTING KICK OFF SESSION
I included a brief Vision Casting kickoff into my welcome, inviting our group to reflect on how the spaces we live, work, and gather in shape our energy, well-being, and sense of connection - and how those spaces can more intentionally support the lives we’re creating.
The session set the tone for the days ahead, preparing them for the shopping portion of the retreat. With so much beauty and the amount of merchandise to take in at each venue, we wanted to encourage a calm, thoughtful approach - to help them make decisions with clarity and intentionality.
While we didn’t have time to create vision boards together during the session, we encouraged each attendee to collect inspiration throughout our Round Top journey and tuck it into the envelope provided - saving those moments, ideas, and finds to add to an existing board or create a new one once home.

WELCOME DINNER
Dinner was a chance for everyone to connect more deeply, learn about Round Top, shopping the fields, and what to expect for the exciting first day ahead. It was such a wonderful group from the get go and I was excited to finally have everyone together.
We intentionally designed the evening to honor LOCAL - every partner involved is part of our community - allowing us to highlight what makes Round Top and the surrounding areas so special.
Our very own Season Ammons, who joined our team just a month ago, prepared a beautiful meal featuring pan-seared chicken with a beurre blanc–style sauce, mashed golden potatoes, roasted heirloom beets, rainbow carrots, and seasonal mixed greens - all organically grown at T+H Farms. Fresh local sourdough with herb and honey cinnamon butter, along with a selection of red and white wines, came from Ashley at Blue Mule Winery. Dessert was the perfect finish: tiny pies from Tara at Royers Pie Haven, served with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream from just down the road in Brenham.
The table was styled using natural elements, ceramics, and vessels from my styling shed to honor the winter season - embracing the idea that even dormant things can be restored to new life, with calming shapes, textures, and tones throughout.

Overall, the evening was a true success - our bellies and hearts were full, and the excitement for the day ahead was palpable. We turned in early, grateful for a good night’s sleep and ready for the early call of our full day of shopping.
