Anissa Zajac has filled our Instagram feed with stunning house shots and home design ideas for ages. She began her journey decorating her own home and after she moved into her seventh home, House Seven was born. If you are wanting to learn from this design savvy lady, you’re in luck – Anissa will be speaking on the panel at our Fall Business, Branding and Social Media Workshop this weekend. She will take part in the morning discussion, moderated by Smoot and I, along with Maria Lichty of Two Peas and Their Pod.
She has an incredible knack for making even the simplest of spaces feel warm and inviting. Last summer, as her family moved into an apartment for a few months while they waited to close on house number eight, she took her followers through her temporary apartment makeover. How she made a typical apartment look so curated and styled is beyond me, but she did it! And shared how you could, too.
Anissa makes it look so effortless, all while juggling a new company, House Seven Design, taking care of her 3 daughters and never missing a beat updating her devoted followers on the progress of her many projects.
Along with her husband, Brian, their new endeavor, House Seven Design + Build, takes old homes and rehabs them in their signature style. They turn something unloved and unused and give it a second chance. She takes her followers along as they renovate and redo the houses. Currently finishing up their first official flip, the journey was not without disruptions, but true to her style, she kept it real and shared the good with the not so good. Her style is chic and approachable. Her photos make you want to kick off your shoes and snuggle up under one of her many cozy throws and sip hot tea by the fire.

Owning our own business has allowed us more time spent together and with our girls. Having a business partner that shares your dreams and is as passionate about the company as you are is invaluable. ”
The morning panel discussion will cover a multitude of topics – everything from the mastery of social media, the stories behind the brands and where they see social media going in the next year.
