CHRISTMAS STOVETOP SIMMER

There’s nothing more nostalgic than the smells of Christmas! They connect you with the magic of the season. For us, there are two ways to best achieve this goal - buying a real tree each year is a must (and recycling it) plus this simple Stovetop Simmer that is sure to do the trick. Not only does it smell amazing, but it’s also gorgeous to look at too! Especially if you put it in a beautiful pot like the one we used, and the one we used is for sale here. We also featured our French cheese molds and a few new items that will be hitting our webshop soon.

The recipe below is super easy to make with ingredients you most likely already have in your kitchen. We’re pretty causal about the amounts we use but listed some just to get you started. We feel the amounts should be determined by your personal preference and what you have on hand.

HOW TO MAKE STOVETOP SIMMER:

Fill your pan with water 1/2 - 3/4th of a way and heat.

Add your ingredients and stir.

Simmer on the back burner and enjoy!

I got to whip up this beautiful scene and recipe with my good friend, Becki Griffin of Curious Details. She can make anything look amazing (especially the charcuterie ingredients pan) and together (I think) we did just that.

Couldn’t miss the chance for a selfie at the end of a long day of shooting. So grateful for my friendship with Becki and the opportunity to create together.

Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas!
