A couple weeks ago, Tara Royer, Meg Duerken, and Stephanie Ackerman hosted The Gathering Retreat at The Vintage Round Top and it was the loveliest! The Gathering focuses on bringing women together for 4 days of creating together, eating together, and being real together.
Since there were 12 women, they used both Boho & No. 1450 for the retreat. It turned out so well, because they were able to use Boho's Great Room for their creative space, Boho's kitchen to cook and serve food, and No. 1450's kitchen for a cooking workshop.
I was fortunate enough to visit one day and it just so happened that the Pie Queen herself was teaching a pie-baking workshop. The kitchen was full of joy, laughter, and yummy smells!
Unfortunately I couldn't stay to taste anything, but Stephanie captured this delicious pie on her Instagram. I was so jealous, Junkberry is one of my faves!
The ladies spread out on tables in the Great Room to create several craft projects throughout the retreat. Luckily the room is 900 sq. ft. because Stephanie & Meg had a ton of supplies! After setting up a table for the supplies, there was still plenty of room to lounge on the couches and daybeds during downtime.
It looked like an amazing retreat, and I'm so glad I got to pop in for just a little bit to see them all in action!
