It's officially the first day of fall and with the changing of the seasons, it's natural to reflect on life's many seasons. One way to learn from your experiences is to journal.
I don't journal as much as I'd like, but I do make it a point to fill out a"Dream Life" list ever so often. Smoot and I committed to "Living with Intention" several years ago after a conversation with our friend, Bud Royer. The best way to honor my commitment and to hold myself accountable is to make sure my dreams, goals and intentions are aligned by "Dream Life" journaling. Some of the questions I ask myself are:
What would I do if I knew I couldn’t fail?
What do I want to be remembered for?
What do I want my life to look like in detail?
Then, I get right to it! I list what I want my life to look like. Seeing it in writing helps me crystallize my goals and puts my hopes and dreams out into the universe. I say a prayer and have faith what's meant to be will be.
Try sitting down with a cup of coffee in the morning and just start writing! You might be pleasantly surprised.
