In the Country Living Magazine spread, the bedroom was the most altered from its original "look". The linens were brought in from Ikea, the architectural "headboard" was photo-shopped out, and the tin panels were turned grey. The shot of the bedroom below was taken before the shoot.

We added a desk area for guests in the entry way of the house. The bed-spring, turned memo board acts as storage and allows us to pin notes or flyers about area events. It fit perfectly between the two front windows.

The two screens sitting on the mantel came from an amazing garage sale I happened upon a few years back. I asked the women how much she was asking for them. When she said $5 a piece, I thought "Stay calm, be cool, don't act like you just won the lottery." I was elated with them and even more so for what I paid for them.

This photo of our family was taken on the last day of the Country Living shoot. The photographers, Max Kim-Bee and his assistant Kevin, were really patient with us. Having run a modeling agency for 22 years, photo shoots have been a part of my life for a long time. I can tell you that I definitely enjoy being behind the scenes much more than in front of the camera.
