Our Fall 2021 Business, Branding, & Social Media Workshop panelist Laurie Furber has been a huge inspiration to me for a very long time! She’s the founder and Creative Director of Elsie Green, a brick and mortar and on online shop of mainly vintage and handmade furniture, décor, accents, and a lovely selection of curated items from around the world. I love her devotion to her brand and core values that are displayed on her website. Especially, her desire to offer environmentally friendly options, giving back to her community and helping her staff do the same.
Laurie was a Pottery Barn merchandising executive for twelve years before starting Elsie Green with her husband, JP. They’ve created a family-run small business with a human touch. She has a true love for shopkeeping with an emphasis on the relationship with their customers and attention to detail. She cares deeply for how purchases are packaged, how phone calls and emails are answered, and wants her customers treated like a dear friend.
She’s an e-commerce pro who developed the online retail brand and mastered the ins and outs of the digital selling world, unique marketing platforms, and enhanced branding across promotional channels. Her wealth of knowledge in all things retail and visionary mind, makes us beyond excited to get to share her experience with our attendees.
