The 2026 Round Top Winter Antiques & Design Show is scheduled to take place from January 22 to January 25, 2026. This winter installment is known for its more laid-back atmosphere compared to the larger spring and fall shows, offering a more intimate shopping experience with fewer crowds.
Key Venue Dates & Hours
While the general show dates span four days, individual venues often have specific operating schedules:
The Big Red Barn (Original Round Top Antiques Fair): Open January 22–24 (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). This venue requires a ticket.
Blue Hills: Open January 22–25 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; closes at 4:00 PM on the last day).
Market Hill, The Compound, & Excess Field: January 22–25.

Heritage & Festivals
Texas Blacksmith Exposition & Antique Gas Engine Reunion: Witness live blacksmithing demonstrations, explore vendor stalls, and participate in a live auction. The event also features the grand opening of a new blacksmith shop.
Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM.
Location: Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center, 250 W. Fair Grounds Rd, La Grange, TX.
ZZ TROT Trail Run & Festival: A family-friendly trail running event offering scenic views of the Colorado River and an interactive playground for children.
Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
Location: Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites, 414 Texas 92 Spur, La Grange, TX.
Recurring Year Round Local Attractions:
Located in restored 1890s buildings, this museum features quarterly rotating exhibits of antique and contemporary quilt art.
Hours: Thursday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Admission: $10 for adults; $8 for seniors (65+) and students.
A family-owned working dairy farm where visitors can pet animals, bottle-feed calves, and enjoy hand-packed ice cream.
Hours: Monday–Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sunday 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Tours: Guided tours (tractor hayride and hand-milking) are available at scheduled times (e.g., 10:30 AM & 2:00 PM on weekdays; additional times on weekends).
Part of Blissful Folly Farm, this brewery offers craft beer, mead, and cider in a scenic farm setting with a playset for kids.
Hours: Wednesday–Thursday 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM; Friday–Saturday 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM; Sunday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Features: Sustainable practices, farm animals (goats, sheep, donkeys), and tastings for $12.
Located primarily around Schulenburg (south of La Grange), these unassuming rural churches feature stunningly ornate, hand-painted interiors.
Visitation: Self-guided tours are available Monday–Saturday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (be respectful of services).
Guided Tours: Can be booked through the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce; typically a $60 docent fee plus a per-person charge.
Housed in the historic Old Fayette County Jail (built 1883), this museum honors Texas veterans and includes a preserved 19th-century jail cell.
Hours: Friday 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Sunday 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
