Spring 2019 Workshop
We are so excited to announce our spring 2019 workshop collaboration with co-host Camila Alves McConaughey, co-owner of Yummy Spoonfuls and founder of Women of Today! Camila is a fashion and lifestyle expert and entrepreneur who developed Women of Today as a community and lifestyle website focused on food, family, fashion, health, beauty, and crafts.
For the past several years, we’ve held biannual gatherings at The Vintage Round Top with entrepreneurs, shop owners, photographers, florists, calligraphers, designers, and more for our Business, Branding & Social Media Workshop Series. We’ve had the opportunity to host some of the most incredible entrepreneurs from all over the country, including Shea McGee from Studio McGee, Alyssa Rosenheck, photographer + founder of the The New Southern, Jordan Breal, travel editor at Texas Monthly Magazine, Anissa Zajac of House Seven Design, Maria Lichty of Two Peas and Their Pod, Tiffany Mitchell of Tifforelie, photographers Sarah and Hunter Lawrence, and many other talented creatives.
We’ve seen strangers become friends (and even business partners!) and witnessed the spark of creativity unfold over the course of just one day. Our workshop attendees always leave feeling inspired and motivated to apply what they’ve learned to their own businesses.
Join us at The Vintage Round Top on Monday, April 1st, 2019 from 12:15pm to 5:30pm for an afternoon of panel discussions and hands-on demonstrations that will help your small-business, blog, or personal project create a strong brand identity and content strategy.
Smoot and I will be moderating conversations with workshop co-host and featured panelist Camila Alves McConaughey of Women of Today, featured panelist Ashley Rose of Sugar & Cloth, and our guest panelists People Food Editor Shay Spence and Grace Helfrich, owner of ColonyCreative.
This workshop will focus on creating marketable social and digital media content for your brand. The afternoon will include two panels, Image + Identity: Building and Managing a Brand and Digital + Social Media Strategy, as well as an interactive taste-and-style session, A Visual Feast: Interactive Content Creation Demo, in which we’ll create a styled mocktail, appetizer, and tablescape. Guests will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel—and everyone will receive an event tote bag with gifts from our featured sponsors!
Tickets are limited, so act quickly to reserve your spot!
